Hints and Tips for Candidates

  • When completing your application find the time to focus on the task without distractions.
  • Check your CV for spelling and grammar, typos and errors are easily made, so do review before uploading it to your profile.
  • Check that your description of your experience matches the role and sell yourself – do not be shy, we would love to hear all about what you can bring to the role!
  • Remember to include transferable skills, even if they were gained from a different industry, or non-work situation – we all have lots of these but sometimes forget how important they are!
  • Do your research to ensure you know who eXPD8 are, what we do and who we work with
  • Think about what appeals to you about the role and why would you like to work with us
  • Read the job description carefully and watch the videos about the role so you are clued up on what the role entails.
  • During the interview, check your internet connection and find a quiet location so you can be heard and are free of background noise and interruptions.
  • Don’t be nervous! Your recruiter is friendly and engaging and will put you at ease to get the most out of the process.
  • Listen carefully to the question. Take a second or two to compose your thoughts before you answer. Ask for clarification if you need to – be sure you really understand what the interviewer is asking.
  • Pre-prepare any questions you may have ahead of time and note them down.
  • Most importantly, be yourself! Be sure to show your personality and who you are in your responses, as this is what counts.
  • Remember, you’re interviewing us as much as we’re interviewing you!
